adidas-futurecraft-on-foot-02-960x640At first look, Adidas’s Futurecraft sneakers (creps, if you’re in the UK) does look a little futuristic and otherworldy, with it’s leak profile, and perforated web-lattice soles.

Constructed using 3-D technology, the uppers are highly-breathable primeknit, and the soles can be made based on the unique contours and arches of the wearer.

Made-to-order, Adidas will be giving them out (for free) to select athletes at the Rio Olympic games.

According to Highsnobiety “the first athlete to receive her pair was New Zealand Women’s rugby player Tyla Nathan-Wong, who won silver.”
