Allysse, a native of San Francisco, California, is a K-pop singer-songwriter and producer on a mission to make it both in the Korean and international scene. Loving K-pop every day for almost 11 years now, Allysse first discovered the genre we all cherish after coming across Se7en’s “La La La” music video on YouTube. A huge fan of J-pop, R&B, and EDM in addition to K-pop, she’s performed both in Korea and all over her home state of California.

Allysse is especially proud of her greatest achievement to date, when she secured victory as the “Best Vocal” for the BigBang Global Cover Contest, after showing what she’s got in her “Bad Boy” remix. She got signed briefly in a small K-pop record label in Korea, and ranked 3rd in the Preliminary round of the 2015 SF K-pop festival, ahead of the K-pop World Festival that year. Allysse was also in the artist lineup at the 2014 KCON Los Angeles, and she also took part as a contributing member for the “My Journey to K-pop Stardom” panel. She earned the opportunity to sing for top K-pop stars, like Eric Nam, San-E, and Sanchez, on the internationally renowned “After School Club” variety show on Arirang TV, as well as making it as a finalist on the reality show “Miss Korea 2” produced by CJ E&M.

As a solo artist, Allysse has so far released two full R&B and pop CD’s. The biggest milestone she’s looking forward to the most is producing her very own K-pop debut mini album, that she’s envisioned will include original K-pop songs, in both English and Korean. She’s currently working on her mini album project very passionately, and she’s set her eyes on releasing it by the end of this year. If you can’t wait that long and want to check out her skills in singing K-pop songs in Korean and English right now, you can get Allysse’s original K-pop single “One” on iTunes here.
