Girl group AOA have confirmed plans for their much anticipated group comeback this year. The group have been busy promoting in Japan this month for their fourth Japanese single and first original Japanese song “Give Me Love”, featuring Japanese singer T.M. Revolution. According to the group’s company FNC Entertainment, the filming for the music video has been completed and that they are finalizing the other details for AOA’s comeback, which they’re expecting to happen in the third week of May. The new release will be a mini album.
Until their next comeback this May, AOA have not released any new material as a group in Korea. Members of the group have had different musical activities: the new AOA Cream sub-unit, featuring Hyejeong, Yuna, and Chanmi, released their first song “Candy Jelly Baby”, and member Jimin made her solo debut with “Call You Bae”, featuring Xiumin from EXO.
AOA last promoted in music shows in Korea summer last year with the mini album “Heart Attack”, with the title track sharing the same name. The group had three comebacks in Korea in 2014: “Miniskirt”, “Short Hair”, and “Like a Cat”. AOA also debuted in Japan that same year with a Japanese remake of “Miniskirt” as their debut single, and in 2015 followed up with their second single, a remake of “Like a Cat”, and the third single was also a Japanese remake, this time for “Heart Attack”.
