Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone were recently captured on video holding a not-real cake that read “W, 11th Anniversary.” Jay Park, looking at the camera proclaims “W magazine, Congratulations (in Korean)! Happy Birthday from AOMG.” Cha-Cha Malone looks on, smiling. The gathering was at a recent concert, and WKorea promises an intense pictorial in their March issue.

Cha Cha Malone, who is not as widely known as Jay Park, is a producer at their AOMG record label. Both artists go way back to 2003 when they joined the b-boy dance group Art of the Movement.
AOMG means “Above Ordinary Music Group.” It also used to mean, but probably just colloqually, “Always on my Grind.” Certainly, that last meaning would not have appealed to CJ E&M, who on January 6 acquired ownership of AOMG. Jay Park founded the record label in late September of 2013. He and rapper Simon D remain co-CEOs.
