So, we know kpop is all about trends and conformity. And, since Kard came out with their pre-debut debut single “Oh Nana,” like every other kpop group can’t seem to resist using Dancehall-EDM-Tropical House beats. And, now jumping on the bandwagon is RnB-crooners/emo-group B1A4 in “Rollin.”

This sound is now officially a tired-kpop cliche.

Personally, I love B1A4. They’re one of my favorite kpop groups. But, really! Are you just gonna take the name of an iconic song from an iconic artist (Adele and “Rollin In the Deep”) and make some kind of chorus line out of it, that you’re not even singing!? Nah, not cool with this. Again, I love these guys, but iconic artistry should be respected.

And, that’s another tired-kpop cliche. Biting off western music, without given much back in return.

I will give them credit for their multi-colored outfits, it set the tone very well… for another song. Not just this one.

Now, seriously kpop, can we dispense of the tired cliches.
