It took a Japanese MV for queen BoA to come back to New York City. Even though a concert would have been so much more appreciated, we’ll still gladly accept her new Japanese MV called “Jazzclub.” And, it’s filled with the energy, sounds, dances and vibes from the golden era of Jazz, of the 1930s in Harlem, USA.
Swing dances like the jitterbug and the Lindy hop were all the rage, between 1920s and 1940s in the United States. Even though, originating largely out of the African-America experience, Harlem was the place to be for all races to come together briefly and shake it!
Similarly, BoA Kwon‘s Jazzclub brings all races together in her Kpop song, in Japanese, momentarily to shake it! And, the best part is we get to see BoA let her hair down.
So, BoA-nim when are you coming to New York for an actual concert? Don’t tarry.
