Boy group BTS (Bangtan Boys) are celebrating their 3rd anniversary with a 2-week long special series of events, collectively titled “BTS Festa 2016”. BTS made their debut in June 13, 2013 with their first single album, titled “2 Cool 4 Skool”, under Big Hit Entertainment.

BTS began the celebrations with the “opening celebration” on their official blog on June 1. The group released videos of special choreography stages on both June 2 and 5, including J-Hope’s dance practice video from last year. BTS next released a photo album on June 3 on their official Facebook account, family photos the next day on June 4, and the “BANGTAN BOMB SPECIAL COLLECTION” on June 7.

BTS also had more special events like “My Profile”, “Our Profile”, and the “Behind the Scenes: Army Zip Shooting” on their official fancafe on Korean Internet portal Daum.

Today June 12, BTS held a radio show titled “BHC Radio”. BTS will wrap up the 2-week celebration tomorrow June 13, the day that “BTS Festa 2016” has been leading up to and the actual date of their 3rd anniversary, with a special event titled “HAPPY BTS PARTY 2016 – Young Forever (0613 ver.)”.

BTS also released an acoustic ‘unplugged version’ of their track “Young Forever” on June 13, as the final part of BTS’ ‘BTS FESTA 2016’, in celebration of their 3rd anniversary.

BTS recently concluded a solo concert in Seoul last May, and will be heading to the United States again in less than 2 weeks to perform at KCON 2016 New York, from June 24 to 25 at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, as the event’s headline act. Next month, they will return to North America again to attend KCON 2016 Los Angeles, from July 29 to 31, at the Staples Center and Los Angeles Convention Center.

BTS first performed for KCON at the 2014 Los Angeles event. This year, BTS, in addition to the KCON events in New York and Los Angeles, performed for KCON’s milestone events at Abu Dhabi last March, and Paris last week.

BTS debuted in June 2013, with the first part of their “school trilogy” series, the single album “2 Cool 4 Skool”. They followed their debut up with their first comeback and the second part of the series, their first mini album “O!RUL8,2?” in September, and finished the series with “Skool Luv Affair” in February 2014 and its repackage “Special Edition” in May.

After the release of their first full-length album “Dark & Wild”, they returned with another series, titled “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life”. The first part, “Part 1”, was released last year in April 2015, the second part “Part 2” in November, and the last part, “Young Forever”, was released as a special album last May. The special album features a total of 3 music videos with just one release.
