Boy group BTS will be seeing their Japanese fans real soon. BTS were invited to perform at A-nation, one of the biggest and brightest music festivals in Japan. The A-nation event this year is titled “A-nation Island & Stadium Fes. 2016 Powered by dTV”. This is the first time that the Bangtan Boys will be performing alongside the biggest artists in Japan.
Last year in April 2015, BTS released their mini album “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 1”, followed by a mini album sequel, “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2”, released in November 2015. Both mini albums gained success and even landed on top on the music charts.
BTS sold around 340,000 albums in 2015 alone, and the Gaon Chart, the biggest physical music chart in Korea, declared the group as ranking third after EXO and BIGBANG.
This year, BTS are finally being noticed and ranking high on Japan’s music charts. BTS’ fourth Japanese single, “For You”, hit no. 1 in the weekly charts of Oricon, the biggest physical music chart in Japan, and “I Need U” and “Run” also made it to no.1 for Oricon’s daily single chart.
The A-nation festival will be held on August 28 and will be held at the Ajinomoto Stadium in the Choufu Ward of Tokyo, Japan. In the mean time, the boys are busy with their concert tour, titled “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage: Epilogue”.
BTS will be in Osaka next week, from July 12 and 13, the members will head to Nagoya next, from July 15 and 16, for the concert tour. At the A-nation music festival, BTS will share the same stage alongside Japanese hitmakers Koda Kumi, Da-iCE, Ayumi Hamasaki, SKE48, TRF. and more.
BTS recently went to the United States to perform at the KCON 2016 New York event, which lasted from June 24 to 25. BTS will return to the US once again toward the end of the month, to perform at KCON 2016 Los Angeles, which will take place from July 29 to 31 at the Staples Center and Los Angeles Convention Center.
