We all know when our beloved K-pop idols and agencies announce a “world tour,” it comes with an “asterisks.” *Only Asian countries in the world. It would seem whoever was coming up with those press releases and tour announcements forgot that the world has 7 continents: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Antarctica.
According to our standards here at GMM you have to at least hit half of the inhabited continents to be considered a true world tour. That is since we don’t know yet if penguins, walruses and seals on Antarctica are into Kpop (and Kpop agencies wont mind being paid in fish) 😉 .
Big Hit and our Bangtan Boys have been very modest about their 2015 BTS Live Trilogy Episode 2, The Red Bullet tour. They have never really announced that it is a world tour. Instead, they have announced the tour dates and locations on a rolling basis, just like they did this past Monday on May 19 when Big Hit announced a tour stop in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong date has been set for August 29, 2015. And, most especially was the announcement today, May 21st, that BTS will be taking The Red Bullet concert to Sao Paulo, Brazil. The concert in Sao Paulo will be held on July 31, 2015 right after their North American tour.
The Sao Paulo announcement officially makes 2015 BTS Live Trilogy Episode 2, The Red Bullet a true world tour. They are hitting up Asia, North America, and South America.
So, let’s run down the list of remaining stops for the 2015 BTS world tour. And, you will see why this is indeed a “BTS Summer”.
The Red Bullet in Malaysia: June 6
The Red Bullet in Australia: July 10 – July 12
The Red Bullet in The United States: July 16 – July 26
The Red Bullet in Beijing: July 21
The Red Bullet in Sao Paulo: July 31
The Red Bullet in Hong Kong: August 29

Wow! Notice that in between their United States tour, BTS will jet over to Beijing for a Red Bullet concert, and jet back to the U.S. to continue their tour.
Finally, it seems Bit Hit, must have promised BTS at least a two week break in August, because the Hong Kong concert is in the last week of that month. So, keep a look out on the boys social media for where each of them will be spending their much needed rest, after a grueling summer schedule of a true world tour.
