In my last review, I covered the unboxing of YesStyle’s new Korean Beauty Box. I promised follow-up reviews of some of the products this week, so here I am!
I’ve been searching for a new BB Cream, mainly because I was running out of the one that I have currently. It was just serendipitous that Etude House’s Precious Mineral BB Cream was included in the box.
Disclosure: This post is based on product provided to GMM by YesStyle and contains affiliate links.
Singer and actress Krystal from group f(x) is the main model for Etude House, so a lot of people also associate the product as the BB cream that Krystal uses.
As I have mentioned in my last article, Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream promises to give a “shiny and glossy look with mineral pearl ingredients.” I wanted to test if it would deliver what it promised to do.
First, the cream is more liquidy than I expected, but this liquidy texture allows the cream to blend in well with your skin. Second thing I noticed was everything about this product is light! The scent is very light and its texture when applied on face is also very light. It doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing the BB cream at all, but it does a good job with overall coverage. It can also serve as a good base before putting on powder or compact foundation. Because the cream is so light, there’s less chance of looking cakey.
Overall, I would use repurchase the product and use it again. It was a very worthy product indeed!
Next up, I used Tosowoong’s Blackhead Nose Pack. I’ve used nose packs before, so I was more familiar with this product. This nose pack is made from charcoal, ash, allantoin, licorice extract and Morocco lava clay. It’s made to suck up your blackheads and cleanse your pores on your nose. I’m not going to post a picture of before/after of using the product because that would just be nasty…BUT, it did a good job of clearing out my pores and taking out my blackheads.
So far, I’m having a positive experience with this YesStyle’s beauty box and I look forward to trying more items! Next time, I’m going to try to make my lips look like the actress Song Hye-Kyo from “Descendants of the Sun” with a product that she endorses, Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask. If you are curious to know if I succeed in my mission, please comeback to GMM for product reviews next week!
