Los Angeles – February 1, 2017 – KCON, the world’s largest Korean culture and K-pop music festival, today confirmed five-member girl group, EXID, will perform as part of KCON Mexico. EXID is the first female act to join the lineup, following the previously announcements of ASTRO, BTS, Eric Nam and Monsta X.
Tickets for the first KCON in Latin America, which go on sale February 7, will range between $50 and $225 (USD). KCON Mexico will take place at the Mexico City Arena, located in the Azcapotzalco neighborhood, from March 17 to 18. The seating chart for the concert is now available and can be viewed on the KCON Mexico website HERE.

EXID, short for “Exceed in Dreaming”, is a K-pop girl group that formed in 2012. The members are Solji, LE, Hani, Hyelim, and Junghwa. They rose to fame with their single “Up & Down” in 2014, performing the song once more after promotions ended, due to its newfound success. EXID won their first music show win with “Up and Down” in 2015. They released their first studio album, titled “Street”, last summer. The title track “L.I.E.” won first place on several Korean music programs.
KCON 2017 Mexico will feature two full days of convention programming covering every aspect of Korean culture including K-beauty, Korean food, K-drama, Korean film, and more. Also included in the schedule will be artist meet and greets where fans will be able to come face-to-face with their favorite performers. Each day will close with a star studded concert featuring the top artists from Korean pop music. Additional artists who will be joining the lineup will be announced in the weeks to come.
