Both G.Soul and new hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC commented on their new contract.
On June 8, H1GHR MUSIC has stated, “After G.Soul’s contract came to an end with JYP Entertainment, we signed with him right away. We’re very pleased and look forward to working with him. We’re hoping to release his first full album sometime in July.”
G.Soul also stated, “I’ve been close to Jay [Park] since we were young and we connect very well on a personal level. Hence, I joined his label. Whilst, I spent a very long time and learned a lot from JYP Entertainment, I’m excited to have a fresh start“.
Along with the singer, the label also signed extremely talented producer thurxday. He helped produce LOCO‘s “High”, “DaDaDa”, and “Dark Morning”. In addition, the newly created label, co-owned by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, currently consists of artists such as Sik-K, PH-1, Groovy Room, Woogie, and more.
Kim Ji-hyun commonly known as G.Soul, is an American singer of Korean descent signed under H1GHR MUSIC. He made his debut in January, 2015 under Studio J, a subsidiary of JYP Entertainment. On June 6, 2017, it was revealed that the singer will leave JYP Entertainment to join global hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC.
