‘Gorillaz’ Turn On The “Strobelite” In New Video

0

Gorillaz makes another great track and video with “Stobelite”. As usual, the animated band interacts with the real world, looking just as realistic as always.

“Stroblite” Music Video

With the help of Peven Everett, who sings the whole song, the band enjoys themselves in the club. The song starts with the whole band sitting, but when Everett starts singing, two members get up and take center stage on the dance floor. Other shenanigans happen in classic Gorillaz fashion and Everett’s voice is a great fit for the funky disco sound of the song.

“And when your private life is dreamin’/You’re living the strobe – light/And you will find the life you needed/You’re livin’ the strobe – light…”

The song is simple and promotes living your best life and having a good time. Check it out below.

ABOUT

Gorillaz is an English virtual band created in 1998 by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett. The band consists of four animated members: 2-D (lead vocals, keyboards), Murdoc Niccals (bass guitar), Noodle (guitar, keyboards) and Russel Hobbs (drums and percussion). These members are fictional and do not personas of any “real life” musicians involved in the project. Their fictional universe is explored through the band’s music videos, as well as a number of other short cartoons. In reality, Albarn is the only permanent musical contributor, and the music is often a collaboration between various musicians. (wikipedia.com)
