It’s interesting that after Brexit, and the fall out from it, which has led to a marked increase in racism and xenophobia in the streets of England, most grime and UK rappers have been silent on the issue. Hip-hop has always been about taking a stand against oppression, by being a voice for the voiceless.

There is however, one grime MC who is making it clear that racism, xenophobia and classism should not be tolerated. In his own way, Koder from South London is standing up and taking a courageous stand with “Vibrations

According to SBTV, Koder was “inspired by Jesse Williams’ moving speech at the BET Awards, he’s penned ‘Vibrations’, addressing some of the pressing issues closer to home.
