The Kpop boy-group Teen Top performed at the Times Square Best Buy Theater in New York City on the 23rd of March, 2014. The concert was the first stop of the group’s first North-American Tour.
The group is comprised of six members, Changjo, Niel, L. Joe, Chunji, Ricky, and C.A.P.
The concert tour marked the first time ever, a Kpop tour had been funded through crowdsourcing. The name of the crowdsourcing platform is Krowdpop, created by Richard Choo. He is also the founder of Kpop United. Stay tuned for our interview with Richard Choo.
Teen Top debuted in July of 2010. And, the group is under the Kpop agency TOP Media. TOP Media was founded by one of the members of the longest running kpop group, Andy Lee of Shinhwa. Shinhwa debuted in 1998.
Teen Top performed in both Korean and English.
