According to the two members’ agency, Jellyfish Entertainment: “Kim Sejeong and Kang Mina, who are part of I.O.I., will now be pulled back to their own agency’s girl group, after giving their all in completing I.O.I’s first official promotion.” Jellyfish also added: “We discussed a lot about when Kim Sejeong and Kang Mina would join our girl group. Jellyfish Entertainment’s new girl group, also their very first, is set to debut around the end of June with 7 members. The soon-to-debut girl group has not yet been named, nor has the agency announced the names of the other members besides Kang Mina and Kim Sejeong. The group’s debut concept hasn’t also yet been revealed. Jellyfish is currently the home of boy group VIXX and soloist Park Hyo Shin.
