With powerful imagery and cinematic visual effects featured in the music video, Kendrick and Sza take us into the heart of the African continent, channeling a formidable confluence of indegenous culture, history, fashion and religion.

There is a deliberate effort to portray and highlight the Congo area. A vast land area that once featured a thriving and dominant civilization spelled as the Kongo. As the case may be, the business of slavery and other foreign unsavory practices decimated its influence.

But, down never means out. As Kendrick Lamar and Sza reclaim the glory and power of an often maligned cultural heritage.
