New York City, NY – September 27, 2016: Since her debut in 2003, as a K-pop singer, leading musical actress, and a multi-talented artist, Lisa (Jung Heesun) has been leaving memorable footprints in the Korean music and arts industry. With 3 full-length albums, 12 digital singles, 17 features on collaborations, 7 OSTs, and 11 musicals under her belt, she is no rookie in the K-pop scene.
Though she is known for her ballads as a solo artists, Lisa has also collaborated with the likes of Dynamic Duo, Verbal Jint, and Epik High, and starred in musicals with Key of SHINee, Yunho of TVXQ!, Yoseop of B2ST, and G.O and Seungho of MBLAQ [excerpted from moonROK].
Lisa is returning to New York City on October 12, 2016, to collaborate with Brooklyn-based pianist/composer/producer Jesse Fischer for a one-night performance at Rockwood Music Hall, the music venue in the Lower East Side of Manhattan – the mecca of emerging artists, where Lisa had her first NYC concert with brilliant Japanese keyboardist BIGYUKI in June 2014
Lisa will be singing her originals and pop standards, with blending in Jesse’s new interpretation, with the irrepressible groove created by the band, including Randy Runyon (electric guitar), David Cutler (bass), and Zach Mullings (drums).
“Lisa feat. Jesse Fischer – Love Is Soul Attraction Vol.2” is produced by New York-based entertainment company 7000Miles, a company that focuses on bringing together talents from various musical backgrounds, specializing in K-pop, jazz, and world music.
In July 2016, the company produced the “Night of Soul Featuring Kim Tae Woo w/ Super Session” concert in New York City and Washington DC. Kim Taewoo performed with several of the top and the finest artists, like Young Joo Song, BIGYUKI, Hyun Wook Yang, Randy Runyon, Sangmin Lee, Dukrae Noh, and Sori Kim.
