‘Niall Horan’ Drops Sultry Audio Track for “Slow Hands”

After Harry Styles released his audio track just this week, band mate Niall Horan releases his.

Another simple song with guitars and drum set. Horan gives us a raspy voice in a rock and pop mix. The song goes in different directions in specific parts, but those changes help reflect what the lyrics are saying.

Speaking of lyrics, the singer has quite the way with words as he describe a night on the town and meeting a woman that just wants someone to go home with.

We should take this back to my place

That’s what she said right to my face

Cause I want you bad

Yea I want you, baby

Horan compares the woman’s ‘slow hands’ to sweat dripping from dirty laundry, giving a very vivid picture. It’s a song about longing and being wanted. The delivery of the song is lovely as it makes your foot tap without having too much going on.

Niall James Horan is an Irish singer and songwriter, best known as a member of the boy band One Direction. In 2010, Horan auditioned as a solo artist for the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor. He failed to progress to the “Boys” category at the “judges’ houses”, but after guest judge Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Horan join One Direction, with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, the group became a reality. The five-piece band made it to the final and finished in third place. Even though they did not win, One Direction was signed by Simon Cowell to a reported £2 million Syco record contract.
