A sweet collaboration between rapper San E and After School’s Raina is coming this summer. The duo will release a new single once again, titled “Sugar and Me”, this Friday on June 17. The two previously joined together for their first collaboration single, “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness”, way back in the summer of 2014. Their first song together was a smashing hit. The duo’s upcoming single marks the first time that the two of them will be making a comeback.
The duo released the teaser for the music video of “Sugar and Me” yesterday on June 14. Raina’s vocals that San E raps along with blend well together, and in the music video I.O.I. member Kim Do Yeon shows her charms when she chews a red bubble gum backwards. Raina and San E’s song has a mid-tempo pop beat combined with sweet lyrics that are perfect for the duo’s second collab single.
The two also shared four couple-themed teaser photos from their single. In one photo, Raina and San E are sitting in the kitchen surrounded by lots of sweets, and in another photo Raina tries to feed San E a lollipop in an adorable way. The third photo shows a moment where they’re just chilling, and the last photo has San E holding a “San E/Raina” doughnut box while Raina looks over it. “Sugar and Me” is looking to be a sweeter tandem to watch out for.
