In keeping with their fun dance practices, Seventeen has release two versions for “Don’t Wanna Cry”. The first is the front version, where the boys look pretty serious and focused. The second is the back version. This is where things take a turn for the distracted. You can see the boys at different times focusing on the camera or each other and laughing or making faces. This is something I personally love since it shows off the funnier side to the group.
Moving away from the individual video concepts and to the dancing, there’s something that the performance version of an MV doesn’t give that a dance practice does. In the dance practice videos, we don’t have the distraction of a production. All we see is the dancing. From this video, I can see, better, how much the group has improved. But better yet, I can see how much Hoshi has improve as a choreographer. This routine is simply beautiful and I love it just as much as I love the song.
Enough of my fan-girling. Check out both videos below.
