SZA is breaking hearts and empowering women in her new video for “Supermodel”. The video was dropped on iTunes and looks to be exclusively there right now.

The song follows the singer’s classic mellow style. The video shows her trying to confidently leave a bad relationship while reflecting on her inability to be comfortably single. With the help of her little fairies, SZA manages to accomplish this feat and walk proudly away.

“I could be your Supermodel/If you believe/If you see it in me/See it in me/See it in me…”

The song’s lyrics are an internal conflict between the singer’s feelings about her ex and how she wants to feel about herself. She know’s he’s bad for her, but it’s difficult to let go of someone you’ve grown to love. I’m sure many can relate and feel a little satisfied with the ending.
