NYC-based singer-songwriter Teddy Edwards just released his debut single “My Name”.
Born and raised in New York City, Teddy Edwards has been involved in music for as long as he can remember. Starting with piano lessons at age four, guitar at eight and songwriting at nine, Edwards has finally made his official entrance into the industry with “My Name.” Teddy Edwards’ new track has been a longtime in the making, working with mentors like Phredley Brown (Bruno Mars, Selena Gomez) and George Pajon Jr (Black Eyed Peas), and gathering inspiration from personal experiences.
While “My Name” marks Teddy Edwards’ first official release, the multi-instrumentalist is preparing for the release of his debut EP in 2017. The project, written by Edwards who has production credits as well, will be filled with the singer’s signature soul.
Known for writing vulnerable, honest, and relatable tracks, Edwards incorporates raw emotion into every song:
“My music reflects my reality. It’s a way for people to see who I really am.”
