Tizzy Gang‘s generating some serious hype for their upcoming album “OppsNextDoor“. They give you a little taste of their ridiculous flow right here with “Shekel“, the latest single from that project. Give it a listen and let us know what you’re feelin’.
This track is absolute madness. They fuse a haunting vibe with some cloud rap chimes and a drum line/trap beat. On paper, we’ll admit that sounded a bit weird. Trust us though, they go together like salt and pepper. The song starts off with an aggressive hook that immediately showcases what you’re about to experience. The entire song is an angry, drilling flow over that fusion beat. It’s not exactly “hyped”, but it’ll definitely piss you off.
This TG’s single last month and that title is honestly so dope. From Shekel, you get another feel for their style. You still have that haunting vibe from the instrumental and it’s paired with more trap-influenced drums. They slow down considerably during this song. However, that doesn’t mean it’s any less intense. Heart rates still go up with their flows and, if anything, my head nods a bit more to this tune. Old School Roadman Jacket, man.
We really love these videos. Every rapper has his own “rap face” and uses his own “body language” that almost always complements his flow style. It also gives you a chance to match the voices with a face. First up of Tizzy Gang is Merky Ace and you can see that grimace clear as day to go with his style. Then it’s Tre Mission holding things down and keeping a tighter, deeper flow. Those two, along with Cadell were actually the founders on the up-and-coming Tizzy Gang. Keep an eye out for those names and you’ll be ahead of the grime curve.
