JYP Entertainment’s newest girl group Twice are currently making preparations for their upcoming comeback. They are anticipated to release their second mini album within the month of April, but a rescheduling of their comeback in early May is also likely.
Twice have been busy with promotions, both on stage at music shows and event performances, and off, with individual activities and TV appearances. They have reportedly not had any extensive break since debut. The announcement, while it gave fans and the media an idea of when to expect their comeback, did not release any more interesting information, such as the concept, composer, and what songs will be included on their next album.
The girl group was formed through the decisions made during the reality show “Sixteen”, broadcast under Mnet. Twice debuted last year to much hype and excitement with their first mini album “The Story Begins” on October 2015, with the title track “Like OOH-AAH”. Their first music video has received an unexpected extraordinarily high number of views on YouTube since the day it was uploaded.
