It has been an amazing year for JYP Entertainment’s rookie girl group, Twice. The 9-member girl group have achieved some remarkable feats in 2016. Although is wasn’t all smooth sailing, their popularity continues to soar.

The kpop darlings released their 2nd mini-album in April, called “Page Two.” It included the title track “Cheer Up,” which to date has over 114 million views, and counting on YouTube.

Not slowing down, JYP capitalized on their exploding popularity, and Twice released their third mini-album called “TWICEcoaster: LANE 1” on October 24. The lead single for the album, “TT,” to date, has already been viewed on YouTube over 90 millions times, and counting.

And, on November 11 the music video for their debut single “Like Ooh-Ahh” hit 100 million views, making Twice the 4th K-pop girl group to reach 100 million views in a YouTube video. The video to date has over 110 millions views, and counting.

Twice also released their official colors on September 23, namely Apricot and Neon Magenta, or in simpler terms, a light orange and a hot pink.

As the year closes out, Twice released a short video on V-Live wishing their myriad fans a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The girls wore matching red outfits, with white buttons and trimmings. Giving off an excited and enthusiastic vibe, the girls also sang “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”
