My earliest memory of Natalie Cole was the duet she did with her father, Nat King Cole. And, I remember the first time I saw the video I wondered to myself, “How did they do that!?” From that moment she became unforgettable not only to me, but to many, many others all over the world. Natalie Cole, passed away on December 31, 2015 due to illness.
Natalie Cole, was a successful American R&B singer-songwriter. Her father, Nat King Cole, was a famous jazz vocalist and pianist whose magical voice enchanted a whole generation. Natalie fully embraced her role as her father’s daughter and helped America re-capture the essence of the golden years in which her father lived.
Natalie Cole also had successes in her own right, with hits such as “This Will Be”, “Inseparable”, and “Our Love”. Her first album, “Inseparable,” released in 1975’s won two Grammys — one for best new artist and one for best female R&B vocal performance for the hit “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love).”
